Baby Back Pork Ribs

Equipment

  • 1 Pellet Smoker
  • 1 Sheet Pan

Ingredients

  • 2-3 Slabs Baby Back Pork Ribs
  • ½ Cup Yellow Mustard
  • ½ Cup Pork Rub

Instructions

Prep Your Ribs

  • Rinse and pat your rib slabs dry with a paper towel
  • On the bottom side of your ribs, use a fork to get under the silver skin and pull to remove

Add Your Binder

  • Spread yellow mustard over entire surface of area ribs
  • You can use hot sauce or olive oil as an alternative binder as well.

Season Your Ribs

  • Using your favorite pork rub, season generously coating all sides of your meat

Smoke Your Ribs 3-2-1 Style

  • Place your ribs on the top rack of your pellet smoker
  • Smoke at 225F for 3 hours

Wrap Your Ribs

  • On a sheet of aluminum foil, place pallets of butter evenly spaced.
  • Add brown sugar and your favorite barbecue sauce
  • Place the ribs meat side down onto the foil
  • Add apple juice to the ribs and wrap the ribs
  • Place the wrapped ribs back onto the smoker for 2 hours at 225F

Sauce Your Ribs

  • Remove your wrapped ribs from the grill and place on a baking sheet
  • Using your favorite barbecue sauce, glaze your ribs with a thin layer of sauce
  • Place your ribs on the baking sheet back onto the grill for 1 hour.
  • Remove the pan from the grill and slice into single ribs or serve as half racks.
  • Serve with your favorite sides
