In a mixing bowl add flour, salt, and baking powder
Mix completely to incorporate all ingredients
Cut cold butter into small 1/4 inch cubes
Cut butter into flour mixture using hands. Break butter up into pea size pieces mixing thoroughly.
Mix milk into flour mixture creating a rough dough.
Be sure to not over mix your dough to keep your biscuits light and flaky.
Roll the dough ball out onto a floured surface. Press the dough out to about 1/2 to 1 inch thick.
Dust the rim of a small glass or jar with flour
Press the glass rim down into the dough, creating circles of dough
Remove the excess dough around the circles and place the dough discs onto a nonstick baking sheet
Repeat until you have used all of the dough
Bake at 425F for 12-17 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown.
Remove from the baking sheet and place on a cooling rack to cool.
