Instructions
Prepare Your Dredge
On a plate, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder
Mix completely to incorporate all spices
Steak Prep
Slice your tenderized round steak into 1 inch strips
Slice those strips into roughly 1-2 inch cubes
Drop your cubed meat into the flour and dredge
Brown the Meat
In a skillet heat your oil to a swirl
Add dredged meat to the hot oil
Turning occasionally brown all sides of the beef
Build Your Sauce
In the pan with the browned meat add 1 can of tomato sauce
Add white vinegar and mustard
Stir completely to create sauce that has an orange hue
Bring sauce to a simmer
Cover and place in a preheated oven at 425F
Cover and cook for 25 minutes
Cook The Rice
In a saucepan add 3 cups of water and a pinch of salt
Bring water to a boil and add butter
Stir in 3 cups of instant rice and remove from heat
Let sit until the sauce is finished
Plate the Deviled Steak Strips
On a platter spoon the rice and spread evenly, creating a a bowl of rice
Spoon the sauce and meat mixture into the bowl of rice
Garnish with fresh or dried parsley and serve with a side salad
