Equipment

  • 1 skillet 9-inch preferred

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Pork
  • 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Avocado Oil
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 Cup Shredded Cabbage
  • 2 Cup Shredded Carrot
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Diced Raw Ginger
  • 1 Thai Chili Optional for heat

Wonton Crisps

  • 6 Wonton Squares Sliced into thin strips
  • 2 Tbsp Oil Avocado, Coconut, High Smoke Point Oil
  • 1 Pinch Salt

Instructions

  • Heat skillet over medium heat
  • Add half of avocado oil and heat
  • Brown 1 pound of ground pork, making sure to break into smaller pieces
  • Drain and set aside in a separate bowl
  • Add other half of avocado oil to skillet and sauté ginger, garlic, carrots
  • Cook until carrots have softened add sesame oil and soy sauce
  • Add shredded cabbage and warm
  • Add cooked ground pork
  • Mix together and allow flavors to marry
  • Spoon into a bowl
  • Garnish with fried wonton strips

Fried Wontons Strips

  • Heat Oil in skillet
  • With a knife, cut wontons into 1/2 inch strips
  • Add strips to hot oil and cook until brown, stir occasionally to avoid sticking
  • When brown, remove from oil and let drain on a plate with paper towel
  • Sprinkle with sea salt while still hot
