Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Pellet Grill

Ingredients

  • 1 Chuck Roast 2-3 lbs.
  • Cup Yellow Mustard
  • Cup Brisket Rub
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 Cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Cups Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

Prep Beef

  • Cut chuck roast into 1-inch cubes
  • In a mixing bowl add beef cubes, mustard, and brisket rub
  • Mix and coat each piece of meat to ensure coating of beef

Smoke Beef Cubes

  • Preheat pellet grill to 225F
  • Evenly place beef cubes on rack and add them to smoker
  • Smoke for 2 hours and remove

Braise Beef Burnt Ends

  • Remove beef from rack and add to an aluminum pan
  • Add butter, brown sugar, and barbecue sauce
  • Cover with aluminum foil and place back onto the smoker
  • Braise for 2 hours and remove

Serve Burnt Ends

  • Serve your burnt ends with your favorite dipping sauce and sides on a plate
